How long have you been in the industry? Over 14 years, I have been working in Hong Kong and Australia.
What does your typical work day involve? Sometimes tree pruning and sometimes tree removal, I like both, but I enjoy pruning trees. Every time I finish pruning and see the completed appearance, I feel very proud, making them happy and, in turn, grow abundantly.
What's the biggest challenge of your job? Usually the client; they always want us to trim as much as possible. We need to educate the client about our trimming methods and how this can benefit the health of the trees. We need to educate our client’s on what proper tree trimming is.
What’s your proudest work accomplishment so far? "Team Work makes the Dream Work". I established a dream working team, which is also an athletic team, and we put our passion for climbing into our work. I founded a climbing academy to share my insights and experiences, bringing together like-minded people.
What's one piece of advice you'd give to someone wanting to start in your industry? Maintain enthusiasm and curiosity towards trees; when there is knowledge you do not understand, you will find a way to learn.
