What does your typical work day involve?
Helping researchers navigate the Canopy safely and training students to do the same
What's the biggest challenge of your job?
When we had to rig up trees for the Dame Judi Drench Documentary, that had many hurdles to get over and of course every single giant old tree I get to climb comes with its own challenges.
What’s your proudest work accomplishment so far?
That I am living my dream of becoming a qualified Tree Surgeon with City & Guild NPTC. Also assisting the canopy research team with the conservation work we do and also getting to be involved in film work is very rewarding.
What's one piece of advice you'd give to someone wanting to start in the Arb industry?
Be safe. Climb safe. Never stop learning and ask the right people to better yourself at your craft.
